The short answers
- What is the Side pirate boat trip?
- A family day on the pirate ship along the Side coast, about 6 hours from morning to afternoon. The crew wear pirate costume, the children are given costumes as they board, and the day is filled with games, pirate stories and a treasure hunt on deck, swim stops in the sea and lunch on board.
- Do you collect us from our hotel?
- Yes. An air-conditioned vehicle fetches you and takes you home again, included in the fare from any hotel along the Side belt, Gündoğdu through to Kızılot, and from Manavgat town. We let you know your time a day ahead. The full list: every area we collect from.
- What does €20 include?
- The hotel pickup and drop-off, the pirate-themed cruise along the coast, pirate costumes for the children, the treasure hunt and the games on board, and lunch with kid-friendly favourites. Extra drinks, personal spending and tips are not part of it.
- What do children pay?
- On the pirate boat trip, children aged 2 to 10 pay €14, and everyone aged 11 and over pays €20. Under 2, they come free. The kids' pirate programme works differently: one fare of €23 for every guest aged 2 and over.
- What time does it start?
- In the morning, with you home again in the afternoon. Your exact collection time hangs on your hotel's position, so we message it to you once it is the day before your trip, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- Do we get to swim?
- Yes. The ship makes swim stops in the clear Mediterranean as it cruises the coast, so pack swimwear and a towel for everyone who wants to go in. Parents stay with their children throughout the day.
- Are drinks included?
- Lunch is in the fare; extra drinks are not. Tips and personal spending are up to you as well, so bring a few euros if you want something extra.
- Is there a day made just for children?
- Yes — the kids' pirate programme. The ship sails at 10:00 down the river to a swim at the river mouth, with faces painted for free, a map to follow for treasure, a tug-of-war, a children's lunch and a foam party. Every guest aged 2 and over pays the same €23.
- How do I pay?
- Nothing online, and no card is asked for. Reserve your places here; the money, in euros, changes hands on the morning you sail. Cancelling is free up to 48 hours before.
- How do I book?
- Choose a date and how many of you are coming, pick out your hotel, add a phone number — that is all. A reference appears straight away, and an e-mail address brings you a written copy too. Book now.
Before you book
What is settled now, and what follows
Three short lists: what your fare includes, what can only be confirmed after booking, and how paying works. Nothing here goes beyond what the operator has actually promised.

Guides
Plan the day, choose your trip, find your area
Short, practical reads: how the two days run, who they suit, how they compare, what happens on board, and where we collect from.
Guides
Plan the day
- Both days, step by step From the hotel pickup to the drive back: the coast day with its swim stops, and the kids' day down the river.
- How booking works Book online or by WhatsApp with no card, then settle in euros on the trip day: what arrives at once, the day-before message, how to cancel.
- What to bring Swimwear, towels, sun cream, hats and a camera: a packing list for the children and the adults, for either pirate day.
- Lunch on board Kid-friendly favourites on the pirate trip; spaghetti, chicken fingers and fish fingers on the kids' day — and why drinks are extra.
- The foam party Music, dancing and foam on deck on the kids' programme: what happens and what the children should wear for it.
- What costs extra Drinks, tips, bar snacks and the photo service: what each day leaves out of the fare, so nothing on board surprises you.
Guides
Who it suits
- With toddlers and babies Under 2 free on both days, what a small child pays on each pirate day, and practical tips for little ones.
- For adults and couples An honest word: both pirate days are built for families. What two adults without children can expect on board.
- Big families and groups A single booking takes up to 20 guests, and larger parties can ask: how a big group books, pays and gets collected.
- Is it safe? A licensed captain, a certified crew, insurance on the kids' day and parents beside their children: what keeps the day safe.
- First boat trip, or with grandparents A first time at sea, older guests or limited mobility: what to tell us before you book, and why we ask.
Guides
Choose and compare
- Pirate boat trip or kids' programme? The same pirate ship, two different days: the coast or the river, a child fare or one fare for all, and which family should pick which.
- Is it worth it? What each fare covers, what costs extra, and the families for whom a pirate-ship day is money well spent — or not.
- Book here or with the hotel rep? Nothing paid until the day itself, cancelling costs nothing until 48 hours before, and the agency is licensed: what booking directly gives you.
Guides
On board
- Treasure hunt and games The hunt on the pirate trip, and the treasure map, tug-of-war and the pirate Ferhat on the kids' day.
- Costumes and face painting Pirate costumes handed out on the coast day, free face painting on the kids' day, and bringing your own.
- The river-mouth swim Down the river on the kids' programme to the spot where chilly river water runs into the warm salty sea, and the swim stop there.
- Swim stops Swimming from the pirate ship on the coast day and at the river mouth on the kids' day: what to pack and who stays with whom.
Guides
